Baby salmon bowl will be available again!
Emily Mariko, 33, whose salmon bowl recipe went viral on TikTok, is currently pregnant and expecting her second child with husband Matt Rickard. She announced the news on Sunday, Nov. 23, in a cute Thanksgiving-themed video.
The latest video, the culmination of a series of videos in which Mariko has posted various dishes she’s preparing for the holidays, shows Mariko, Rickard, and their young son Theodore “Teddy” preparing to eat pumpkin pie. With a shy smile, Mariko placed two large pies next to a small pie and an even smaller pie, revealing that her family of three would soon become four.
Next, she cut four slices and topped each with a generous dollop of whipped cream. After everyone took a bite of the pie, Mariko rubbed the baby’s bottom and Teddy gently leaned in and kissed it.

Mariko and her husband welcomed Teddy in June 2024.
A few weeks later, the food influencer shared the exciting news of welcoming her first child on her TikTok and Instagram accounts.
Mariko shared a video of herself lying in bed smiling while her newborn baby slept on her chest. “Theodore’s 1 month 🧸🤎,” the proud mom wrote in the caption.
She first revealed that she was planning to give birth to her first child on Christmas Eve 2023, posting a video on TikTok.
In the sweet announcement post, Mariko walked into the living room and walked past the Christmas tree wearing a cozy sweater and leggings. She carried a few Christmas stockings with her as she headed to the fireplace.
Setting out a plate of cookies and a glass of milk for Santa, the vlogger began draping the stocking over the mantle. After hanging two regular-sized stockings, Mariko added a third, smaller stocking.
Although the video didn’t have a caption, Mariko’s followers shared their excitement in the comments section.
One person commented on the food blogger’s post, saying, “They’re eating baby salmon bowls 🥹🥹,” referring to the influencer’s most famous dish.
