“Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker have divorced after 11 years of marriage.
“After much thought and much prayer, we have made the decision to move forward with divorce,” Barres said in a statement Friday.
“These are difficult and emotional times, but I remain focused on maintaining my peace, being the best mother I can be, and co-parenting with love and respect,” the reality star told People in a statement.
She added that her “new chapter” includes focusing fully on work, family and personal growth.
“We would like to thank everyone who has supported us over the years. We ask for privacy, grace and understanding as we go through this period of transition with our family,” she said.
Fans began speculating that the couple had broken up earlier this week when she removed Tucker’s last name from her Instagram handle.
She was also conspicuously absent from her recent appearance at BravoCon 2025, where Burruss was presented with the network’s Wife Achievement Award last week.
In her acceptance speech, Burruss, 49, thanked not only her husband but also her family, including Mama Joyce and her Old Lady Gang.
“To Todd, thank you for surviving the blogs, the shades, the rumors, the lies, the truth, the almost fights, the actual fights, the reunions. You won this award too,” she said on Instagram to the crowd.
Despite his absence, Mr. Tucker responded to the outcry by expressing his support for Mr. Burruss on social media.
“Of course you did it with class and dignity. You are an inspiration to many. You are the 🐐 goat!” he wrote.
But astute fans also noticed that Burruss ditched her wedding ring for the three-day tournament in Las Vegas.
Representatives for Burruss did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The pair were last seen together in public on July 14 at the 50th birthday party of Tameka “Tiny” Harris, a member of Burruss’s Escape group.
The “Real Housewives” star married Tucker in 2014 in a lavish “Coming To America” themed wedding.
The couple welcomed a son, Ace, in 2016, and a daughter, Blaze, through a surrogate in 2019.
Burruss announced her departure from Real Housewives of Atlanta in February 2024 after 14 seasons.
“I decided not to go back this year,” she told Variety on the red carpet at the 2024 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.
“It’s been 14 seasons and they’ve allowed us to sit a little bit longer, but in the meantime I’ve started working on a lot of other things, and I’ve got some great big projects coming up, so I’m really excited about those things.”
