MGK dedicated his latest “Lost Americana” tour show to two special people in his life: his daughter Casey Colson Baker and Saga Blade Fox Baker.
“I want to dedicate this show to my two baby girls,” the musician told the crowd at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on Thursday night, referring to his first child, now 16, and his new bundle of joy, who was born with Megan Fox in March.
“My oldest son (Casey) grew up too fast,” he added.
A montage of clips was then shown on a projection screen, showing heartwarming moments between MGK and his family over the years, as MGK performed the song he originally wrote for Casey, “Play This When I’m Gone.”
MGK, 35, told the crowd, “I want to emphasize how important family is.” “If you are with those you love, love them forever.”
The special moment was well-received by fans in the audience who packed the Forum to cheer on the Grammy-nominated artist on Thursday night, despite heavy rain and chilly temperatures in Los Angeles.
Clearly, it was worth it.
“I looked up and saw that weather. Clouds, it was raining. I said, ‘Is anyone coming?'” the “Wild Boy” rapper joked shortly after opening the show with “Outlaw Overture” and “Starman.”
“I’m so happy because I’m stupid and wrong 98 percent of the time. The only good thing about all that rain is that you guys are already wet for me. Los Angeles, I think it’s time to cheer up a little more!”
The live show was electrifying from start to finish, with MGK entertaining the crowd with his signature mic tricks, guitar shredding, and fireworks.
The stage itself was equally grand, featuring a giant hand holding a lit cigarette (later revealed to be an edgy replica of the Statue of Liberty).
“I have so much love for this city. If there was a place I wanted to go out and try something, it would either be back in Cleveland (my hometown) or here,” he explained, revealing that he is “working on a set list” as he goes along for each stop on the tour.
The singer also took the tour up a notch by hiring dancers, including Delaney Glazer, who many may know from his “Cliche” music video, and performing with bandmates JP “Luke” Cappelletti, Sophie Lloyd, Justin “Jus” Lyons, Steve “Bay’s” Basile, No Love, and Brandon “Slimx” Allen.
They followed up 2022’s “Mainstream Sellout” with a string of hits from MGK’s album “Lost Americana,” released in August on EST 19XX and Interscope Records.
Page Six witnessed several celebrities, including singer Mod Sun and actress Madeleine Petsch, revel throughout the night in the audience as MGK and crew performed songs such as “Don’t Wait Run Fast,” “The Vampire Diaries” and “Goddamn.”
The concert also served as the fifth anniversary of Ticket to My Downfall, a record that sparked the 2020s pop-punk revival and was certified platinum by the RIAA.
MGK’s two-hour set included classic “TTMD” hits like “Bloody Valentine,” “Ex-Best Friend,” “Lonely,” “Drunk Face,” and “Forget Me.”
“I always hope that you guys choose to perform and support me through all the random times that I continue to[create],” the genre-defying artist, who previously went by the stage name Machine Gun Kelly, declared at one point in the show.
“The word MGK stands for multi-genre king. I will never be put in the king box!”
Towards the end of the night, MGK confirmed that his next project — a long-awaited rap album that he previously said “will be the best rap album ever” — will be released in 2026. This will be the first official return to the genre since 2019’s Hotel Diablo.
“When I come back next year, it won’t be like this,” he teased. “This is a special moment. New setlist, new album.”
Produced by Live Nation, MGK’s worldwide “Lost Americana” tour continues Friday with a stop in Sin City for the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix.
The tour is scheduled to end in Ridgefield, Washington on July 1, 2026, hitting major arenas, amphitheaters and festivals in North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand along the way.
Other artists performing at various stops on the tour include Wiz Khalifa, Julia Wolf, Honestab, Beauty School Dropout, DE’WAYNE, Mod Sun, Emo Night, and more.
