Vimal Krishna, the writer-director of the Telugu blockbuster film ‘DJ Thiru’, has completed a major shooting schedule in Kashmir for his next film ‘Anumana Pakshi’, which marks a co-production venture between India and Indonesia.
The character-driven feature stars Raghu Mayur of ‘Sivarapalli’ fame alongside Merin Philippe. The project is being produced through a partnership between Chilaka Productions and Spectrum Films, with Rajiv Chilaka, Rajesh Jagtiani and Hirachand Dhan as producers and Bharath Lakshmipathi as co-producer.
Chilaka is the creator of the iconic animated character ‘Chhota Bheem’ and the founder and CEO of Green Gold Animation.
The production recently completed a 20-day schedule in Pahalgam and Srinagar in Kashmir under the guidance of CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) and following all necessary security protocols. According to the producers, this is the first film to be shot in Kashmir, specifically in Pahalgam, following the tragedy that occurred in the region earlier this year.
Kashmir’s schedule represents about 80% of the film’s completion, with the next phase of shooting scheduled for late November. The team had earlier shot a brief schedule in Visakhapatnam in September.
The ensemble cast includes Prince Cecil, Ananya, Karis, Brahmaji, Ajay, and veteran actress Raashi in a supporting role. Shri Charan Pakala will compose the music and Sunil Kumar Nama will be the cinematographer.
Chilaka is participating in the ongoing WAVES Film Bazaar, which is part of the market section of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa.
