Taylor Swift rocked lace for her second date night look this week, stepping out with fiancé Travis Kelsey in New York City on Thursday night.
The “Ophelia of Destiny” singer styled her chic fall look with a Louis Vuitton top and skirt, paired with Fleur du Mal rose lace tights ($78).
Dressed in all black, she styled the French fashion house’s chain sweater with a double-face mini wrap skirt ($2,750), Legacy boots ($1,940) and a Cassin PM bag ($4,300). On her wrist was a new Cartier Love Unlimited bracelet ($9,400) and a 100-way diamond bracelet ($2,140).
For her second night out in New York, Swift kept her outfit as classic and understated as the night before, opting for a classic all-black look.
That said, she traded in her menswear trousers for lace tights and opted for a more festive, feminine outfit for her night out at Zerobond.
Adding a little color to the mix, Kelce wore matching burgundy cargo pants and track jacket, both made of rich corduroy. Underneath, he was wearing a plain black T-shirt.
Kelsey’s look was from his own collaboration with American Eagle, AE x Tru Kolors, released in late summer.
The Corduroy Full-Zip Mechanic Jacket and Relaxed Corduroy Cargo Pants, both made famous by NFL tight ends, are still available for purchase. He continues to be a great ambassador for the collection.
The athlete is currently on his bye week, giving him and his wife-to-be plenty of time to experience the best of New York.
Swift has been playing it cool with her wardrobe choices lately, but they contrast sharply with her “showgirl” persona on stage.
While the red carpet may bring a little more sparkle to the 35-year-old’s fashion choices, it’s refreshing to see her leaning into more muted, wearable fall trends.
Jeweled or not, she can make the whole place sparkle.
