Jelly Roll’s daughter Bailey Ann has begged for “compassion” amid the onslaught of “hate” her family has been receiving following her father’s shocking divorce from his long-term wife Bunny Zoe.
The 18-year-old thanked people who have shown her “so much love and kindness through everything” since the news broke, and called out haters in an overdue TikTok update on Wednesday.
“I’ll never forget everyone who showed me empathy when I was facing so much hate. Thank you. Thank you so much,” she wrote, giving a shoutout to those who “go out of their way to make me feel protected and seen.”
“And to everyone else, I hope humanity can evolve to a place where kindness is paramount. I understand and respect opinions and understand that a public profile is a public profile. But that doesn’t have to mean we abandon our human decency. I love you all 🤍.”
Bailey Ann broke her silence about her father’s divorce for the first time in an earlier post on Tuesday, saying she was “sick of how involved everyone is in what is clearly a private family matter.”
“Worry about your house, not mine,” she added about the “insane” amount of attention the breakup has garnered. “We haven’t talked about that yet.”
Jelly Roll, who welcomed 9-year-old son Noah Buddy with ex-girlfriend Bailey Ann, quietly filed for divorce from Bunny on May 18 in Williamson County, Tennessee.
The Grammy Award winner, 41, cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for her split from the Dumb Blonde podcast host, 46. The two got married in 2016.
On Wednesday, a source exclusively told Page Six that the estranged couple’s divorce was “a combination of issues that have been building up over the years.”
“Some people around them felt tensions rising as Jerry embraced a more faith-centered lifestyle while Bunny continued to build the outspoken and provocative brand that had always been authentic to her,” a source told Us.
He added: “Whether it’s fair or not, it’s become increasingly difficult to reconcile these two worlds.”
“Bunny has always been unapologetically herself, which[Jerry]admires, but there were times when she felt like the direction of her life and the direction she envisioned for her future were no longer aligned,” the source said.
The split was even more shocking as the former lovers had been trying to have a child in recent months.
The “Son of a Sinner” singer and Bunny revealed in an interview just months before their divorce that they had been on an “arduous” in vitro fertilization (IVF) journey.
Bunny, in particular, shared a racy image just hours before news of Jerry’s divorce filing broke.
“She’s getting her glow back,” she wrote cryptically above the photo.
Just recently, a moving truck was spotted outside an apartment complex in Tennessee. At this time, it is unclear whose items were being removed from the couple’s home.
