Want to get noticed by Joe Jonas at a Jonas Brothers concert? It might be easier than you think.
The 36-year-old musician admitted in a recent interview with Mac & Jen on SiriusXM Hits 1 Miami that he often reads signs held up by fans, including the PG-13 ones, while performing with brothers Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas.

He does his best to avoid showing PG-13 footage, but he doesn’t care.

“I think it’s fun. At the end of the day, it’s like going to a concert, get creative and have fun,” he said.
The “Cake by the Ocean” singer said that when the musicians started taking song requests from the audience, they started scanning the audience for signs.
“We’re doing a section of the show, I think it’s about four songs, and they get to decide what we play there,” he said. “So we want to hear the why, and we want to know the audience. But…so for the first few songs, we’re just like, ‘Okay,’ and we’re reading the signs.”
When asked if he loses concentration midway through, he admitted that he does, saying, “You can see me laughing.”
Nick, 33, confirmed his remarks and singled out Joe as a band member who was “easily distracted on stage”.
The Jonas Brothers are in the middle of their “Jonas20: Greetings from Your Hometown” tour, which kicked off on August 10th at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
During their active period, the brothers have invited several fellow musicians to surprise their fans in different cities. Guests on the tour include Demi Lovato, Fifth Harmony, Jesse McCartney, JoJo, Plain White T’s, Hanson, and All Time Low.

As the Jonas Brothers continue to celebrate their 20th anniversary, Joe couldn’t be more proud to do what he loves.
“After 20 years, we’re still able to make a living doing what we love and we have a lot of supportive fans and people who come to our shows and listen to our new music and work. That’s why we keep doing what we do,” Joe told PEOPLE in June.

“I wake up every morning ready to go,” Joe continued. “I make a living doing what I love, so I’m happy to be able to continue doing it.”
