Millie Bobby Brown, who is only 21 years old, has been married for over a year. And she’s not shy about the fact that she and Jake Bonjovi got married young.
The couple first married in May 2024 in a low-key ceremony with family in attendance, before celebrating in a large ceremony in Italy in October of the same year. She was 20 years old and he was 22.
In a new profile for British Vogue, the actress said of her wedding to Bon Jovi, “I understood that I was young, I understand that.”
At the time of their first wedding, they had been together for almost three years. “I can’t say it enough, you just know it when you meet the person,” Brown told the outlet about her decision to marry Jon Bon Jovi’s second son.

“I thought Bon Jovi, 23, was really cute, but I didn’t know if he liked me,” Brown said of Bon Jovi, 23, when they first contacted each other after being introduced by a mutual friend.
Four years later, she told the outlet: “He made me who I am, and that’s why I adore him.”
She admitted that the Stranger Things star is also “very different from him.” “I don’t see the good in anyone. I’m always like, ‘What are your intentions?’ Because I’m tired of this industry,” Brown said. Thanks to her husband, she “doesn’t have to hold back so much in that world.”

The couple recently took a big step in their relationship, adopting a daughter over the summer. The couple announced the exciting news in August, writing on their shared Instagram, “We are so excited to embark on this next chapter of beautiful parenting in both peace and privacy.”
In a profile for British Vogue, Brown said that becoming a parent has been a “beautiful and amazing journey” and that their children have “already taught us so much”.
“Our days are filled with lots of hugs, laughter and love. It’s just endless joy,” she said, breaking her silence as a mother.

The actress also revealed that she and Bon Jovi intend to keep their daughter’s life very private and have no plans to reveal her name.
“For me, it’s very important to protect her and her story until she’s old enough to one day share it herself,” she told the outlet. “It’s not my place to unwillingly or intentionally put her in the spotlight. If she chooses to one day share her personality with the world, as I did when I was younger, that’s for us to support.”
