Chris Evans is already the proud father of a baby girl.
The “Captain America” star is reportedly overjoyed to welcome daughter Alma Grace Baptista Evans over the weekend.
“Chris is completely in awe of his daughter,” a source told People on Friday. “He is soaking up every quiet moment and couldn’t be more proud to be the girl’s father.”
A representative for Evans did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Evans, 44, gave birth to his first child, a baby girl, with his wife Alba Baptista on October 25th in Massachusetts.
“They are enjoying their privacy and their special first few days as a family with their baby,” a source told People magazine on Tuesday when reports of the Marvel alum’s bundle of joy first surfaced.
Evans and Baptista, 28, tied the knot in two separate wedding ceremonies in 2023, one in Portugal and one in Massachusetts.
It is unknown when the two started dating, but they announced their relationship in 2022.
Their engagement was kept a closely guarded secret, but Evans previously revealed that he popped the question to his now-wife in Portuguese, Baptista’s native language.
Around the same time as their September 2023 wedding in Massachusetts, a source gave further insight into the pair’s relationship, telling People that the pair “got serious very quickly” after Evans met her for the first time in Europe.
“He kept saying he knew she was the one,” the source said.
“He’s ready to settle down for a while,” the source added. “He can’t wait to start a family. He’s just been waiting for the right girl.”
