Dorothy Wang made her fairytale Italian wedding weekend even more meaningful by being the first to say “I do” in the city where their love story began.
Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” exclusively reveals that before the reality star-turned-fashionista and her now-husband, attorney Brandon Jankowitz, tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Florence, Italy, on October 11, the pair secretly made it official with an intimate and impossibly chic wedding at a courthouse in New York City.
Exclusive photos capture the couple’s big smiles as they exchanged vows on a beautiful sunny day in Manhattan, highlighting the undeniable energy of the city that shaped their relationship.
Wang, 37, said the choice to get married in New York before leaving for Florence was a deeply personal decision rooted in the early days of their romance.
“I met Brandon in New York after I moved from Los Angeles, actually at a Halloween party three years ago! We’re very much a New York love story,” she says. “Many of our relationships and favorite memories are based and built in this city, and we have made it our home.”
Mr. Wang elaborated, “It felt natural for us to have a courthouse ceremony in the city that brought us together before departing to Florence to celebrate with family and friends.”
The love in her voice reflects the joy seen in the court photos, and she and Jankowitz look like the effortlessly stylish duo their loved ones know.
Ms. Wang wore a stunning white ensemble, all sourced from Tab Vintage. It’s a fashion girl move that only she can pull off so easily. Her look paired a vintage Armani top with a vintage Valentino skirt, fusing a classic silhouette with her modern, glamorous sensibilities. She styled her hair in loose waves with a mid-part, giving it a romantic softness that perfectly complemented the understated elegance of the day.
Jankowitz matched Tom Ford’s chic energy from head to toe, opting for a sharp black suit, crisp white shirt, dark tie, and sleek loafers. With his hair slicked back, the lawyer looked timeless and sophisticated next to his bride.
But their best accessory wasn’t haute couture, as evidenced by every photo. The two, who officially became husband and wife before flying to Italy for a grand celebration, had megawatt smiles that they couldn’t contain.
The larger-than-life moment was the kind of extravagance fans of the former “Rich Kids of Beverly Hills” and “Bling Empire: New York” star have come to expect. The weekend-long celebration, held at Florence’s historic Colegio alla Querce, was a blend of luxury, tradition and high-end glamor.
Guests kicked off the celebrations with a family-style rehearsal dinner, a pasta-making class, and a VIP tour of Gucci Palace. The couple also hosted a traditional Chinese tea ceremony honoring Wang’s heritage, weaving a meaningful tribute to her family into the fashion-forward weekend.
And, naturally, fashion played a leading role. Ms. Wang was blown away by the range of custom looks from some of the world’s most popular designers.
She wore pieces by Prabal Gurung Atelier for the rehearsal dinner, a haute couture sequin chaipao by Lawrence Hsu for the tea party, and a custom Oscar de la Renta dress for the main event, which embraced an aesthetic she described as “Victorian romance.”

At the reception, she wore haute couture by Giambattista Valli, before changing into a custom minidress by AKNVAS for the high-energy afterparty. The afterparty featured a surprise performance by Saweetie and a late-night menu of burgers and fries in place of the traditional wedding brunch.
The couple met in October 2022 after Wang moved to New York to film “Bling Empire: New York.”
They are now looking forward to additional celebrations in Asia to welcome even more loved ones.
But while grand, it was a New York courthouse ceremony that was sweet, stylish and quietly profound, and Wang says it will remain one of the most meaningful chapters in their wedding story.
In her own words, it was the moment that laid the foundation for everything that followed, an intimate beginning to a worldwide celebration of love.
And judging by the photos, it was picture perfect.
