I heard Zac Brown will be headlining the first Proud: Celebrating America’s Heroes concert in Nashville, Tennessee.
The event, to be held on Nov. 7 in honor of Veterans Day, will be hosted by Ford, Blue Star Families, and TikTok, and will also feature appearances by Breland, Lainey Gardner, Mickey Guyton, Ne-Yo and the War and Treaty, and more.
The concert will be livestreamed on TikTok and will be performed to an audience of veterans, active duty military, and their families.
The show will benefit veterans service organizations and feature cameos from veteran content creators like Justin Nunley, as well as creators Asina and Kenny Jarry, who will promote the show, which is billed as a modern-day version of military viewing.
“Supporting military members and their families has always been close to my heart,” Brown, a singer of country hits such as “Homegrown” and “Chicken Fried,” said in a statement about the performance. “The values behind ‘Proud to Honor’ – elevating organizations that make real change and giving back to those who have given so much – are very meaningful to me. Music has the power to heal, connect us and remind us of what is truly important, and I am proud to be a part of this modern celebration of our military and community.”
Ford Motor Company Executive Chairman Bill Ford announced the concert at a “Proud Celebration of Bronco Off-Road” event dedicated to Ford’s military families.
“Veterans are an important part of the TikTok community, and we’re honored to host events that support military personnel and their families on and off the platform,” said Shou Chiu, CEO of TikTok. “Veterans and the amazing #MilTok “We’re proud to partner with Ford and Brewster Families to celebrate our community…Together, we’re sharing music that inspires and connects with hundreds of military families in Nashville and the 170 million Americans who can tune in.” Live on TikTok. ”
