Dylan Dreyer’s costume may not have been all that creepy, but it certainly gave her sons a fright.
In a video shared by Today on Friday, Oct. 31, the 44-year-old meteorologist can be seen wearing a Frankie Valli costume and FaceTiming with her three sons: Calvin, 8, Oliver, 5, and Rusty, 4. Dryer’s hair was slicked back to imitate the Four Seasons singer and he wore a tie, button-up shirt and slacks.
“What do you think?” Dryer is heard asking his sons. When they didn’t reply, she asked, “Don’t you like it?”
“This is a wig, buddy,” Dryer explained to the children. “You don’t look like me,” Calvin told his mother.

“That’s the point!” Dreyer laughed. Her other son Oliver looks confused.
“You look scared,” said the mother of three. “You don’t like it, do you?”
Earlier this month, Dryer posted a series of photos on Instagram as she said goodbye to her old apartment. One photo showed Dreyer painting the walls of her olive green room white with the help of her son Russell.
She also posted a photo of her sons’ bedroom, including a triple bunk bed. “There are so many memories in this room and I thank God every day for each one,” she wrote in the caption.
“And for these boys, a lifetime of love and dreams awaits them! But not in bunk beds!” Dreyer joked at the end of the post.
Moving an apartment isn’t the only change Dryer has experienced this year. The Today host, who also co-anchors the third hour, shared the news of her separation from husband Brian Fichera via Instagram on July 18.
Dreyer and Fichera have been married for 12 years and have three sons. The two first met while working at the same local Boston news station and married in 2012.
In August of this year, Dryer’s son Calvin joined her for a day of work at Today. The proud mother shared a snap of her “amazing day” on the set of Today with her son Calvin.
In the first photo, the mother-son duo poses with legendary actor Christopher Lloyd. Another photo showed an eight-year-old boy shaking hands with the Back to the Future alumnus. The final snap showed Calvin pointing to his name written on today’s signature wall.
“Awesome Scott!! What a great day to take Calvin to work!! @todayshow,” the proud mom captioned the post.
