Amy Pascal will be presented with the David O. Selznick Lifetime Achievement Award on behalf of the Producers Guild of America. Pascal will receive the award at the 37th Annual Producers Guild Awards Ceremony on February 28th at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles.

Since founding Pascal Pictures in 2015, Pascal has produced blockbuster hits including the Spider-Man movie trilogy, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and its sequel Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Greta Gerwig’s Little Women and Steven Spielberg’s The Post.

Pascal most recently has producer credits on Noah Baumbach’s Jay Kelly and Luca Guadagnino’s Challengers, starring Zendaya, Josh O’Connor and Mike Feist. Pascal will next serve as a producer on Greta Gerwig’s The Chronicles of Narnia: The Sorcerer’s Nephew. “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” starring Tom Holland. Phil Lord and Chris Miller’s “Project Hail Mary” and Denis Villeneuve’s upcoming “James Bond” movie.

“Producing has been the great joy of my professional life, and I am incredibly thrilled to receive this honor from the Producers Guild, among so many legendary colleagues that I deeply respect,” Pascal said in a press release. “David O. Selznick was the kind of producer who believed in ambition, imagination, and risk-taking. Having the award in his name means that being a producer is about more than just making movies, it’s about championing bold stories and being a bold, visionary… It reminds me that it is about continuing the tradition of filmmaking. I am so grateful to the PGA and its commitment to preserving and celebrating the craft of producers, and to the extraordinary collaborators, colleagues, and mentors who have supported me in this journey. ”

PGA Chairman Donald De Line and Stephanie Alleyne said: “Amy embodies the essential qualities of a truly great producer: impeccable taste, a keen eye for extraordinary talent both in front of and behind the camera, and unwavering determination fueled by deep passion.” “Her films are masterpieces of storytelling, seamlessly blending captivating entertainment and thought-provoking ideas, many of which have become enduring cultural touchstones.”

Pascal previously served as Chairman of Sony Pictures Entertainment’s Motion Pictures Group and Co-Chairman of SPE from 2006 to 2015.
