“St. Denis Medical” continues to be added to the guest star roster for season two.
Olympic gold medalist Adam Rippon has joined Paul Scheer (Black Monday, The League), Wayne Knight (Seinfeld, Jurassic Park), Jessica Lowe (Shipwreck, Minx) and Jared Goldstein (Dollface, The Unicorn) for the second season of the NBC mockumentary series, Variety has exclusively learned.

The five new additions join previously announced guest stars Ariana Maddix, Draymond Green, Kristen Schaal, Lauren Weedman, Frankie Quiñones, Lauren Lapkus, Tim Baltz, Jeremiah Brown, and Jonah Beckett. The series stars Wendi McLendon-Covey, David Alan Grier, Alison Tolman, Josh Lawson, Kahyun Kim, Mekki Leaper, and Kariko Kauahi.
“St. Denis Medical” Season 2 will air in back-to-back episodes on November 3rd from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM ET/PT on NBC. New episodes will stream on Peacock the next day.
The Season 2 logline reads, “After receiving a large private donation, hospital administrator Joyce (McClendon-Covey) bites off more than she can chew as her employees navigate staff shortages, office conflicts, and personal lives.”
This series was created by Eric Ledgin and Justin Spitzer. Redgin serves as showrunner and executive producer. Spitzer, Simon Heuer, Ruben Fleischer, Bridget Kyle and Vicki Lu also serve as executive producers. The studio is Universal Television.
Character description
Adam Rippon plays a male patient who must convince Bruce of his illness.
Paul Scheer plays Ruben, the younger brother of a patient in need of a kidney transplant. Although he clashes with his brother, behind the scenes he works together with the doctors at Saint-Denis to save his brother’s life.
Wayne Knight plays Dr. Axeller, a surly heart surgeon who frequently clashes with Ron. Tensions reach a climax when he teases a medical call made by Ron.
Jessica Lowe plays Violet, a cheerful and eccentric woman who surprises the Saint-Denis staff by coming to Saint-Denis to win back her ex-husband.
Jared Goldstein plays a technician operating a new health screening device in Saint-Denis.
