Selena Gomez talks about how her husband Benny Blanco supports her.
Last night in Los Angeles, Gomez held the third annual philanthropy for Rare Impact Fund, a fundraiser that raises money for mental health resources.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Gomez was asked what Blanco’s continued support means to her, especially when it comes to mental health awareness.
“I think it’s really important to have someone around you as an equal, especially a partner, who understands where your values lie and what’s important to you,” she replied. “When they don’t align morally, it can feel a little cloudy sometimes. But I know what’s important to him and he knows what’s important to me. We’re just there for each other. He’s in competition with himself, I tell him. He’s always like, ‘I want to be in it too.'” I’m like, ‘Okay, I can do it.’ ”
Gomez arrived at the charity event yesterday wearing a blush pink satin minidress, matching shawl and pumps. She styled her hair in a bob, wore light makeup, and accessorized with Effie jewelry.
Once inside, she joined Blanco and changed into a red minidress, her hair tied up in a bun. Other celebrity guests include Laufey, Jimmy Kimmel, Jake Shane, Jackie Asamoah, Jay Shetty, and more.
