Treat every day like your birthday.
Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau made their romance public by holding hands as they celebrated the singer’s 41st birthday in Paris.
Over the weekend, the pop star and the former Canadian prime minister walked hand in hand as they arrived at the Crazy Horse Paris cabaret show.
In photos obtained by Page Six, Trudeau, 53, was seen carefully helping his date out of the car before entering the venue.
After the show ended, the couple continued to hold hands as they left the cabaret.
As he left, a fan gave Perry a red rose and wished him a “happy birthday.”
The two then got into a black SUV and headed to their next destination.
Perrie stunned in a form-fitting red gown and black pumps. Her black hair was slicked back and tied into a low bun.
Prime Minister Trudeau, on the other hand, looked dapper in a dark suit with a black shirt.
The date night comes weeks after Page Six exclusively reported that Trudeau’s new romance was a “midlife crisis” following his divorce from his wife of 18 years, Sophie Grégoire-Trudeau.
“Dating Katie might be Justin’s answer to going to Burning Man,” a Canadian social source told Us. “It’s a bit of a midlife crisis.”
The “Dark Horse” singer and the politician first sparked romance rumors in July when they were spotted taking a walk in Montreal and then grabbing a bite to eat.
A few days later, Trudeau was seen watching Perry perform at the “Life Times” tour stop at the Bell Center in Montreal.
Things got rocky for the couple earlier this month when they were spotted making out while spending time together on a yacht off the coast of Santa Barbara, California.
Perry’s new romance comes on the heels of her breakup with Orlando Bloom.
In July, the 13-time Grammy nominee and “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor, 48, confirmed in a joint statement that they had split after 10 years together.
The former couple have a 5-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove, who was born in August 2020.
In 2023, Prime Minister Trudeau and his estranged wife Sophie announced their separation.
“Hello everyone. I would like to share the fact that after many meaningful and difficult conversations, Sophie and I have made the decision to separate,” the former Liberal Party leader posted on Instagram at the time, which has since been deleted.
“As always, we remain a close family with deep love and respect for each other and all that we have built and continue to build,” he added.
They have three children, Xavier, 18, Ella-Grace, 16, and Hadrian, 11.
