Ireland Baldwin’s birthday celebration was a family affair, despite her recent scathing comments.
The 30-year-old celebrated a new decade on Thursday with her stepmother, Hilaria Baldwin, and her half-brothers.
Hilaria, 41, documented their hangout in an Instagram slideshow, writing, “Happy birthday @irelandirelandireland ✨. I’m so lucky to have you. I’ll always be in awe of your wisdom, strength, and resilience.”
She called Ireland “funny and smart” and later called her “the best mom, sister, friend (and) daughter.”
The “Dancing with the Stars” alum continued, “We value our relationship ❤️. You are so supportive and a true light in all of our lives. We love you so much and it was so meaningful to celebrate with you today.”
She and Ireland started the merry-go-round with a smiling selfie.
Photos uploaded to social media also included tender photos of Ireland, her two-year-old daughter Holland, and Hilaria and Alec Baldwin’s seven children: Carmen, 12, Rafael, 10, Leonardo, 9, Romeo, 6, Eduardo, 5, Maria, 5, and Ilaria, 3.
Alec, 67, wasn’t in the photo, but on Thursday he shared a throwback photo of Ireland and Carmen to his account.
“Happy birthday to my Ireland,” the “30 Rock” alum wrote.
The tribute comes three days after Ireland made headlines for recounting her “toxic” family and “lonely” childhood via Substack.
Ireland did not name the person in question in her blog on Monday, but she slammed those who felt the need to “persuade” her in order to gain “validation and praise” when she was younger.
He added: “My daughter (Holland) doesn’t need to know these people. I can protect her from them. I can do my best to gradually build my own version of the family.”
Ireland, who wants to teach young children “how real families treat each other,” wrote that she was trying to find her “village” in her 30s.
The former model lives in Oregon with her partner RAC, who she has been dating since 2021.
She ended her post with some advice, including a shout-out to her mother, Kim Basinger.
“Tell your mom I love you every day,” she told readers. “Send her a message when you get to your destination. You’ll understand her like never before.”
Basinger welcomed Ireland in 1995, two years after marrying Alec. The former couple divorced in 2002.
The couple have been embroiled in a custody battle, and the actor said on an episode of The Baldwins in March that the “negative impact” on his relationship with Ireland was “the most disappointing thing”.
He married Hilaria in 2012 and the Irish government recently praised the former yoga instructor for “saving” Alec’s life.
