Ana Navarro was enamored with Richard Gere’s good looks and massage skills after interviewing him on “The View.”
Navarro, 53, called the “Pretty Woman” star, 76, his “dream celebrity” on Thursday following an exchange on his ABC talk show last week.
“I didn’t realize how much I was into him until he came on the scene and rubbed my neck,” Navarro gushed in an interview with the Daily Mail.
“He’s 76 years old and he’s super hot,” she exclaimed.
Notably, Gere appeared on Friday’s set, stopping to give Navarro a squeeze on the shoulder before greeting co-hosts Joy Behar, Sarah Haines, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farrah Griffin.
The TV personality speculated that Gere “must have known” that he had put her in a “trance” because she “literally almost passed out.”
Navarro jokingly made the remark to the “Internal Affairs” star during a sit-down on Friday, telling the publication, “He literally threw his arms up and said, ‘Richard, take me now.'”
Navarro, who is Nicaraguan-American, said she believed Geer gave her a neck massage because he “likes Latina women.”
“He’s married to a Spaniard,” she noted of Gere’s partner, Alejandra Silva, who is from Spain.
“In fact, the reason[The View hosts]talk about him is because his Spanish is really good,” Navarro said. “We started speaking in Spanish.”
Director Navarro said the actor is “very ready” for Bad Bunny’s 2025 Super Bowl halftime performance because of his excellent Spanish-speaking ability.
“Richard can keep up with Benito,” she exclaimed.
Gere and Silva, who married in 2018 after four years of dating, moved to their home country last year with their two children, Alexander, 6, and James, 5.
Gere exclusively told Page Six in April that he and his wife, 42, are “very happy there.”
“Her family is there, her culture is there,[our]youngest children are growing up there, and their Spanish is perfect,” he told Us at the time.
The “American Gigolo” star is also father to 25-year-old Homer with ex-wife Carey Lowell, and Silva also has a son from a previous marriage.
