The “New Girl” rewatch podcast, called “The Mess Around,” has found a new place for listeners to go behind the scenes at Apartment 4D.
Podcast creators “New Girl” stars Lamorne Morris and Hannah Simone will join podcast network Headgum to produce new episodes of “The Mess Around.” The partnership begins on October 21st with Season 4, Episode 11, “LAXMas.”

“The Mess Around” features real-life friends and former co-stars who played CeCe Parekh and Winston Bishop, rewatches “New Girl,” and uncovers untold stories with the help of guests, writers and directors.
In the announcement, Morris revealed his excitement about working with Headgum, saying, “After partnering with the Headgum team on ‘The Lamorning After,’ it was a natural fit to bring both podcasts under the same umbrella. And, ‘New Girl’ fans, rejoice. You don’t have to put up with ‘We’re Here to Help’ anymore.” It’s your actions, Jake.”
“The Mess Around” stars regular guest stars Justin Long and Olivia Munn, as well as “New Girl” cast members Zooey Deschanel, Jake Johnson, Damon Wayans Jr., Max Greenfield and show creator Elizabeth Meriwether.
“New Girl” aired on FOX from 2011 to 2018 for seven seasons and 146 episodes. The series follows an eccentric teacher named Jessica Day (Zooey Deschanel) who moves into an apartment with three single men after a bad breakup and eventually forms close relationships throughout the series.
“The Mess Around” will be Morris’ second podcast on Headgum, along with “The LaMorning After,” which will arrive on the network in 2023 and will be co-hosted with writer/director Kyle Shevlin.
“The Morning After” features a rotating cast of celebrity guests who discuss relationships, life and what they did the night before. Past guests include Raven-Symoné, Glen Powell, Josh Peck, Hannah-Symoné, and more.

New episodes of “The Mess Around” will be released on Tuesdays and can be viewed on major platforms and YouTube.
