On September 7, 2023, Charlie Puth announced his engagement to girlfriend Brooke Sansone by posting on Instagram about their shared pizza night.

Sansone grew up in the same New Jersey area as Puth and graduated in 2021 with a degree in marketing from the College of Charleston in South Carolina. According to her LinkedIn profile, she currently works in the PR field as a digital marketing and PR coordinator at interior design company Butter and Eggs Interiors.
In her free time, Sanson is passionate about fashion and co-runs an Instagram account about clothing curation called Thee Closet Next Door.
She also frequently posts about her other favorite hobby: traveling.

According to an interview Puth gave on SiriusXM’s Howard Stern Show, the two grew up together and were friends.
“(She’s) someone I grew up with,” he said. “Even though my life has become more and more eventful and I’ve started traveling everywhere, it’s really nice to have someone I’ve known for a long time nearby… And I know that when I inevitably face difficult times in the future, she will be there for me too, because what is life without valleys and peaks?”
He added, “Honestly, I’m so scared of people now that I can’t walk anywhere for any reason. I think the more I do that, the more I just want to run away to people I’ve known for a long time. I’m not really interested in going out and going crazy like I used to.”
How long have Puth and Sansone been romantically involved?
Rumors about the two began in the summer of 2022. In July of the same year, Sansone shared a “cape” photo of both families on Instagram.
In September of that year, the two attended the Global Citizen Festival in New York City, along with several members of Puth’s family. They went Instagram official in December, and Puth shared a photo booth photo from his 31st birthday.

Sansone is a family friend. Their relationship is “just in our DNA,” he told People magazine in December.
“I know her,” he continued. “I mean, she grew up one town over from me in New Jersey, and my parents know her parents. The couple announced that they are planning to give birth to their first child in October 2025.
On October 16, Puth announced in his new music video for “Changes” that he and Sanson are expecting their first child. Sansone appeared wearing a red sweater and gently cradling her stomach. Puth joined her, placing his hand on hers, and the two walked away with smiles on their faces.
