Global film and television studio Fifth Season (“Severance,” “Friendship”) and premium content production company PictureStart (“Together”) have extended their film and television relationship with a multi-year agreement.
Terms of the agreement include Fifth Season providing business operations, finance, production and strategic insight services to Picturestart, and the two companies will increase their film and television co-productions. Picturestart will continue to oversee the company’s strong film and television plans, with senior production executives Jessica Switch, Julia Hammer and Emily Wissink signing new deals with the company. Former studio president Eric Feig, who founded Picturestart and is its largest investor, will serve as executive chairman.
Fifth Season CEO Graham Taylor said: “This expanded partnership brings together the best of both worlds, adding to Picturestart’s outstanding creative team and our strong global infrastructure and partner network.” (Picturestart has partnered with Fifth Season (then Endeavor Content) since its launch in 2019, when early investors included global film and television studios.)
