Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck sparked reunion rumors last week when they attended the Kiss of the Spider-Woman premiere in New York City. Officials have revealed that there is currently “no romantic reunion” between the ex-girlfriends, who remain collaborators. Lopez has been busy, currently filming the Netflix thriller The Last Mrs. Parrish, based on Liv Constantine’s best-selling novel.
Despite recently reuniting on the red carpet, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are not back together.
“She always enjoyed working with Ben, and that hasn’t changed,” a source recently told People magazine. “There will be no romantic reunion with Ben.”
The source added: “They are in a great place and will continue to support each other. They are both proud of what they have accomplished together.”
On October 6, the former couple attended the premiere of Kiss of the Spider Woman in New York City. The musical film, which opened in theaters on October 10th, stars Lopez as the titular Spider-Woman. Affleck is an executive producer on the film along with Matt Damon through their production company Artist Equity, so he walked the red carpet with Lopez.
For the occasion, she wore a glamorous Harris Reid dress with statement diamond earrings, while Affleck wore a navy blue suit.
Lopez has been keeping busy. On October 10th, she was spotted filming her upcoming film The Last Mrs. Parrish in New York. Netflix’s new psychological thriller is based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Liv Constantine. According to Deadline, the film “tells the story of a con man who preys on a wealthy couple by befriending the wife and seducing the husband with a plan to become the next ‘Mrs. Parrish,’ only to discover that the wife’s life is much more twisted than she ever imagined.”
