Magic: The Gathering has announced its next big crossover partnership, and it’s packed with Turtle power.
At a panel presented by Wizards of the Coast’s Magic: The Gathering and Paramount’s Nickelodeon at New York Comic-Con on Friday, the Hasbro-owned tabletop card development team announced a new set based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. This team-up is the latest from Magic, which has released crossovers with Sonic the Hedgehog, Final Fantasy, Spider-Man and more this year alone.
According to Wizards of the Coast’s description of the upcoming set, which will debut next March, “The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise spans generations, both in media and among fans. This set reaches out to players old and new, offering a new style of magic. Whether you’re an avid fan of Kevin Eastman’s art or a Turtles superfan who adores the recent animated feature, this set has a card for you.” This set is based on the entire history of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles media and offers a wide range of products to match. Modern products like Turtle Team-Up products are perfect for cross-generational play. If you grew up watching the adventures of Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo, you can now share those stories with a new generation of Magic players. ”
The set includes:
Play Booster: $6.99 Collector Booster: $37.99 Commander Deck: $69.99 Bundle: $69.99 Pizza Bundle: $99.99 Draft Night: $119.99 Turtle Team Up: $49.99
