Taylor Swift gave her first performance on Selena Gomez’s wedding with Benny Blanco when she appeared on SiriusXM’s The Morning Mash Up.
Taylor Swift gave a speech on September 27th at the wedding of longtime friend Serena Gomez. And now she shares a little more details about what it’s like to watch Gomez marry the love of her life.
Swift appeared in SiriusXm’s The Morning Mash Up. Host Nicole Ryan asked about her July 4th post where she and Gomez stroll around. Swift was playfully calling for their single relationship status, but soon after, both women met their future husbands. Gomez secretly began dating Benny Blanco, and Swift began to see her current fiancee, Travis Kelce.
“How confused, how confused is that post?” Swift began. “I think I’ll look back at it (and) if I break it, if I break it, I’ll be in this picture. I’m with me and Serena, as well as a lot of girls. Some of the other girls found someone right after that. (Kelce) I just came to the show.
“Looking back…it’s also his (Kelce’s) birthday, so I think I’m grateful that he exists.
She added Gomez specifically. “Serena was the most beautiful thing. She wasn’t the most beautiful bride… (but) she is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. She’s so happy, and she deserves it.
She also said of the moment she fell to Kelse, “It’s very difficult to pinpoint that. I’m suddenly embarrassed, especially since I’m on the radio. But you know, it all turned out to be great. I absolutely love him.”
