Fans are sure they are certain of Taylor Swift’s “The Life of a Showgirl” album “Canceled!” – About her close companion, Brittany Mahomes.
Swift became friends with WAG when he first began dating Travis Kelce in the summer of 2023. Kelse is a close friend of Patrick Mahomes, a Kansas City chief teammate who has been married to his high school girlfriend Brittany since 2022.
On the album’s 10th track, Swift, 35, offered advice to an unknown alliance “cancelled”;
“Did you get too close to the sun? / Did they find you have too much fun?
Swift suggests that she herself was expelled by the masses in the past, and appears to refer to the social upheaval she faced in 2016 amidst the feud with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
“It’s good that I like my friends being cancelled / I like being covered in Gucci and scandals,” she partly Croons. “My whiskey sour / and like a nasty flower of poison / Welcome to my underworld / Where it gets pretty dark / At least you know exactly who your friend is / They are scarred.”
Swift has been rocking Gucci’s label in the months leading up to her album release. And Swifties quickly gathered her mention of the Italian fashion brand as well, which could also be an Easter egg, referring to Brittany.

The former soccer player wore a Gucci outfit while enjoying a double date with Patrick, Kelce and Swift at 2024 US Open. Kelse also wore head-to-toe Gucci for sporting events.
Brittany has faced a significant share of internet backlash over the years. This was criticized for spraying champagne on football fans after the Chiefs won the 2022 AFC division playoff game against the Buffalo Bills.
The hatred on the internet was so bad that Brittany spoke to her critics by tweeting, “I hope I can do what I want without being attacked every week.”
Brittany was also dragged by hinting at her support for President Donald Trump, a direct betrayal of Swift’s democratic political stance.
However, Swift enters her lyrics and says she doesn’t care what’s spread by internet trolls.
“We’ll take you with your hands / and soon you’ll learn an art that you’ll never get caught,” she sings.
Hearsay was swirling about tensions between Swift and Brittany, but the singer took the rumours off in September by attending the trainer’s 30th birthday party.
Finally, fans believed the song was referring to Brittany thanks to a sporty reference to the lyrics’ roster.
“You’re popular/optical clicks, everyone is popular, but it’s easy to love you if you don’t protect one drop from hearing impairment and heat in the roster/tone.
Swift’s Twelfth Studio album debuted on Friday and included several other Easter eggs.
