Scott Wolf’s estranged wife, Kelly Wolf, returned to the treatment center within a month of Wolf’s rehabilitation’s stay.
The 48-year-old “didn’t attend” court on Tuesday, and the judge argued that the former reality star was undergoing mental health treatment at a Utah facility.
During a hearing on Kelly’s misdemeanor charges in divorce, prosecutor Wendy Crossland agreed that he “believes” Kelly is currently undergoing treatment.
“I would not have had any other contact with Miss Wolf otherwise,” the lawyer said, and the judge later said that Kelly’s absence “had “reset these (legal) matters.”
Scott and Kelly representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Page 6.
Kelly was charged with harassment and electronic disclosure of personal identification information in August.
During the two-day prison, Kelly was released on the basis of his willingness to participate in inpatient or outpatient medical, behavioral, psychological or psychiatric treatment.
She shared her intention to go to rehabilitation for a month at the September 2 hearing, claiming she was “looking forward to” doing so.
“My brother is taking me,” explained Kelly at the time. “It’s great. It’s a great place. I’ve always recommended myself as a mental health expert.”
She checked in to rehab in Arizona on September 7th, but confirmed on page 6 that she left and stayed at the hotel two days later.
The “Real World: New Orleans” alumni insisted in a September 9 call that they will be attending another treatment center in Utah in November.
When Kelly appeared in court the following day, she had no legal representation. And her estranged husband, 57, was ordered to help her get a lawyer.
In the meantime, the judge upheld an earlier protective order that banned Kelly from contacting Scott and his three children, 16, son Miller, 12, and daughter Lucy, 11.
The former couple tied the knot in May 2004 and started a family five years later.
Scott filed for divorce in June, and Kelly said she recently lost 30 pounds from the split and is now 97 pounds.
“I’ve lost everything. I’m malnourished,” she wrote earlier this month via Instagram stories. “I was treated like a crazy woman.”
In particular, Kelly and the “Party of Five” alums have been ordered not to post about their legal battle on social media.
Kelly continues to document the turbulent split via Instagram, but Scott broke the silence in a statement to people last month.
“I hope (i) keep this most difficult chapter of our family life as private as possible, but the happiness of my children is at stake and that has always been my priority.”
“There are some important challenges that make our situation very difficult and controversial, and it’s tragic for all involved,” he continued.
