Candace Cameron Bure was surprised by the filmmakers who suggested that the neck would need editing for the film’s role.
“I’ve just shot a movie and there’s a flashback scene,” the “Full House” alum, 49, spoke in a recent episode of her podcast of the same name, adding that the scene “should have been from 15 years ago,” and her character will be “about 30.”
Bure then told co-host Lisa Whittle that the footage would have a post-production effect to achieve a younger version of the character, with the filmmakers explaining to her that she “digitally changes (her) face” and that she “looks younger.”
Along the way, she said the VFX team will not only deal with “(her) wrinkled” but also with “crow feet” and “smile lines.”
“And he’s going,” she recalls the filmmaker adding. “And I said, “Wait, what? What? My neck? Do I need to do something with my neck?”
The three incredible three moms who didn’t reveal the film she was referring to admit that she was unsure of the proposal. “I’ve never thought my neck looks old, my neck is getting old,” she cried. “I wasn’t thinking either!”
She said, “Then when he said he was going to work on my neck, I said, ‘Oh, great. I’m back to treatment!”
With a laugh, the actress said, “I thought of one more thing! What’s going on?”
In the comment thread for the podcast clip, fans responded to the confession. “You look amazing at all ages! That kind of inspiration to me! ❤️,” one person wrote, while another said, “One of the few celebrities who can’t recognize.
The third commented, “I think you’re aged beautifully!! It’s never going to change.”
Others took a comedic approach to Bure’s story. “And this is why I had a neck lift and a face lift,” one follower said.
Bure, whose 27-year-old daughter Natasha tied the knot with former Disney Channel star Bradley Stephen Perry earlier this month, previously dealing with bodiing.
After fans asked Bure if they had deleted the photo in early September, she took her to an Instagram story, confirming that she had deleted her photo in a swimsuit “soaking in the end of summer” and “not a bikini.”
“It wasn’t about swimsuits or my body,” she recalled online criticism. “But the comments flooded with people discussing my body.”
She added, “It wasn’t worth it. I beat it.”
The Hallmark Channel actress later showed off her youthful physique via Instagram stories with a bare skin crop top.
