Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are “very happy” to welcome their first daughter. The Rockies spoke to people about the couple adjusting to their three parents.
Rihanna and $AP Rocky are happy to adapt to life as a family of five, with the arrival of their eldest son Rocky Irish Mayers. People revealed that during Rocky’s first two weeks the couple only invited close friends and family.
But they are ecstatic, sources say that it is Rihanna’s dream of giving birth to a baby girl.
Rihanna “evidently very grateful for her boys – three of them (partner A $AP Rocky and Sons Rza and Riot) – but she’s ready for even more girly energy. She’s over the moon about her baby girl.”
The insider said, “It already brings a whole new energy to the family. She’s always dreamed of having a little girl. She shopped a lot and is very excited to wear a daughter. It’s a whole new world for her.”
Sources all said Rocky was “everything she wanted.”
According to a second source, Rocky feels the same way. “They are so happy to have the girls in the end. They’ve been hoping for this for a while and can’t believe it actually happened.”
“They love that RZA and Riot grow up with their young sister. “RI always wants a big family and she’s excited to do all the girls. Rocky said he feels lucky.”
Rocky told Elle in an October cover story about how he and Rihanna were praying for their third baby to become a girl. “I hope it’s a girl. I’ll do it. We pray for the girls,” he said.
“For the first time, we wanted to know the gender of our baby,” he added. “The second time, we didn’t want to know. The third time, we didn’t want to know. Still, he was optimistic: “I feel it’s going to be a girl. This pregnancy is very different from the other two. You can tell from experience. I think it’s a baby girl. I need it.”
Rihanna announced Rocky’s arrival on September 24th, sharing that her daughter was born on September 13th.
