The long-living queen – the ring, that is.
Meghan Markle made a sparkling statement this weekend at a charity event in Santa Barbara, debuting a dazzling new piece from jeweller Logan Hollowell.
The 44-year-old Duchess of Sussex wore a 14-carat gold Queenwater Drop Romstone ring with pear-shaped moonstone surrounded by white diamond halos.
Her choice to wear a ring named “Queen” was not lost in Royal Watchers, especially given her complicated relationship with her official title. Since returning from royal duties in 2020, the Duchess has carefully curated her public image. And her choice of gems often speaks volume.
This piece also brings a symbolic homage to Harry’s late mother, as described on the jewelry brand’s website.
For the charity event, Markle paired the diamond sparkler with a Carolina Herrera Navy sleeveless button-down dress ($2,490), tightening a waist and caramel leather Ralph Lauren tenny pump, with a jewel-centered jewels. She added a Cartier Tank Française watch, stacked her signature Cartier Love bracelets, and finished off the look with a Jennifer Meyer mini bezel tennis bracelet.
Ring – Markle wore Kevin Costner’s One 805Live! Charity Concert – Mark the latest addition to her growing Logan Hollowel collection. The mother of two has been a longtime fan of the Los Angeles-based brand, showing off her frequently heavenly work.
Most notably, she wears a necklace from the brand’s signature that represents Archie and Lillivet, during several publications, including the announcement of her 40×40 mentorship program’s 2021 birthday.
This January, the actress and businessman returned to Instagram after taking a new profile photo of herself wearing a Logan Hollowell diamond tennis necklace ($26,995) after a five-year break.
Whether intentional or not, the “Queen” ring shows that while Markle has left the palace, she is still royal.
