Priscilla Presley shares in-depth details about her romance with Robert Kardashian.
In her upcoming memoir, “I’ll Leave You, Life After Elvis,” Priscilla claims that her famous ex-husband once squealed her when she was in bed with the late Kardashian patriarch, but she didn’t think that the king of rock and roll would be like that.
“He would have probably been ballistic if he had known Robert was in my bedroom, literally,” she wrote. “Elvis always had a loaded gun and sometimes multiple guns.”
80-year-old Priscilla began dating Kardashian in 1975, following both her divorce from Elvis in 1973 and her romance with karate instructor Mike Stone. Kardashian married Kris Jenner in 1978 and was famous for welcoming Jenner’s four children before his 1991 divorce.
“Robert was a sweet guy and I liked him,” Priscilla wrote according to the outlet. Still, his “demanding” job as a well-known Hollywood lawyer made him “a long time” work, making it difficult to navigate the relationship.
A Priscilla representative did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
In 2023, Insider said that Kardashian, who died of cancer in 2003, wanted to marry Priscilla.
“Priscilla made Robert so happy,” his friend Joni Migdal said of Jerry Oppenheimer’s 2017 book, The Kardashian: American Drama.
“He wanted to marry her and have a child with her,” Migdal continued. “It was definitely his hope, his plan.”
A best friend who donates memories of the 2017 book recalls Kardashian complaining that Elvis actually called while in bed with Priscilla and reverberated “inconsistent.” Priscilla is said to “place the bedside receiver on the pillow between her and Robert and allow him to listen to the King’s intimate conversation with his ex-wife.”
Larry Cranes, a friend of the lawyer, recalled that Kardashian said, “This guy Elvis won’t stop controlling (Priscilla).”
Kardashian was said to have shown her friend that she didn’t want to date Priscilla because she had “daughter) Lisa Marie. The Rock Icon died in 1977 at the age of 42, and Lisa Marie passed away in 2023 after cardiac arrest at the age of 54.
Either way, Priscilla reportedly reportedly in her new book that her daughter Kim Kardashian called from the hospital before his death, claiming in her new book that she remained friendly with Kardashian. “Robert and I had a final conversation before he passed away,” Priscilla wrote. “He is a kind man and I remember him with great affection.”
