“90 Day Fiancé” star Armando Rubio’s 13-year-old daughter Hannah has been hospitalized with a serious medical emergency and is unable to be with him.
The reality star, who “90 Day Fiancé” fans know for her love story with husband Kenny Niedermayer, shared the shocking news on Instagram on Tuesday. He said in the video that Hannah complained of not feeling well when he noticed that half of her face was “dangling” and half of her body was “weak.”
He took her to a doctor, but the small Mexican town didn’t have proper testing facilities, so she was advised to transfer her to another medical facility. Armando said his family decided to take her to the United States because her condition was serious.
Her mother was able to take an ambulance to Arizona with Hannah, but doctors later discovered blood flowing to Hannah’s brain. But they still didn’t have all the answers, so Hannah was airlifted to the intensive care unit of a Phoenix hospital.
Armando said there are still no answers as to the cause of Hannah’s symptoms, and that Kenny, who was in Ohio for a family funeral when the medical emergency occurred, plans to get to Hannah as soon as possible.
“Unfortunately, I can’t go there. That’s the hardest thing of all,” he told fans.
Prior to the video, Armando, who is in the process of getting a spousal visa, shared an alarming post asking his followers if they knew anyone at a Mexican embassy or consulate who needed an emergency medical travel visa.
Armando told Page Six on Wednesday that he tried to apply for temporary humanitarian parole to cross the border to be with Hannah, but was told by a U.S. Customs and Border Protection supervisor that it hasn’t been granted since 2025. Now, Armando and his immigration attorney say they are seeking another emergency parole.
Armando said he remains focused on Hannah.
“Every parent wants to be at their child’s bedside when they’re sick, but not being able to hold their hand or comfort them was the hardest thing I’ve ever experienced,” he said. “I feel like we were separated when she needed her father the most.”
He added: “I’m doing everything I can to reunite with her because more than anything she needs her daddy and I need to be with my little girl.”
Armando said in a video on Tuesday that he would continue to update fans on Hannah’s condition, and shared footage of her being airlifted to his Instagram Stories.
“My baby,” he wrote. “Send her healing vibes.”
He then shared a GoFundMe that he and Kenny’s close friends created to pay for Hannah’s hospital bills. As of publication, over $28,000 has been raised and that number continues to grow.
“I’m honestly embarrassed to ask for help,” Armando wrote, adding that a close friend later reminded her that it’s okay to rely on people who care.
He added: “Please do what you can. Thank you for your love, prayers and support.”
Kenny also thanked fans for their support on his Instagram Story on Wednesday. He shared a photo of himself sitting at the airport and said he was on his way to Hanna and that Armando’s sister and mother were currently with Hanna.
“I’ll be going with her soon,” he wrote.
Armando, 37, and Kenny, 64, made their TLC debut on season 2 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way in 2020. Cameras showed Kenny moving to Mexico with his much younger partner Armando after the two connected through a Facebook group for gay dads.
Armando shared Hannah with his late ex-wife, who tragically died in a car accident.
Kenny is also the father of son Brisen and triplet daughters Madison, Cassidy, and Taylor. He is not in a romantic relationship with the mother of his children, and the children were born through in vitro fertilization (IVF).
