Zendaya is happy to let everyone know that she’s off the market for good.
The 29-year-old “Dune” actress had the perfect response to a fan who yelled, “Will you marry me?” on the red carpet at the Spider-Man: Brand New Day event in Mexico on Monday.
“Too late!” Zendaya replied with a laugh. That’s as seen in a video of the cute moment shared on Instagram.
Zendaya is, of course, referring to her marriage to her longtime Spider-Man co-star Tom Holland.
Holland, 30, himself recently made a marriage joke while promoting The Odyssey in an interview with Wired, along with co-stars Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway and Robert Pattinson.
Zendaya has also appeared in director Christopher Nolan’s blockbuster.
The group answered fan questions like, “Was Athena (played by Zendaya) romantically in love with Odysseus (played by Damon)?”
“No, because she’s married to me,” Holland said, drawing laughs from Damon and Hathaway.
The British actor confirmed the two had married privately in an interview with Esquire last month after intense speculation.
When asked by the magazine if he needed to inform his family that the AI-generated photos from the wedding that went viral on social media were fake, he replied, “No, because the photos were all there.”
Although he didn’t reveal any details about the secret wedding, he did mention their relationship, saying, “Our business can create some very stressful situations, and it’s been really great to be able to lay the foundation for a relationship that will stand the test of time.”
He added that his wife is his “human being” and “best friend”.
“I’m the happiest I’ve ever been when I’m with her,” he exclaimed. “But I’ve never felt so supported and safe.”
During a recent appearance on the UK-based podcast Dish, Holland referred to Zendaya as his “wife.”
When asked which of his Odyssey co-stars he’d like to go on a Greek vacation with, he replied, “I think my wife would probably be really nice.”
“It would be weird to say, ‘Sorry, baby, I’m actually taking Matt (Damon) with me,'” he joked.
Holland and Zendaya began dating in 2017 and got engaged during the holidays in 2024.
It’s unclear when the two got married, but her longtime stylist Law Roach dropped the bombshell at the 2026 SAG Actor Awards in March that they were already married.
“The wedding has already taken place,” he told Access Hollywood in a red carpet interview. “You missed it.”
