Amanda Batula is in a “serious relationship” with her Summer House co-star West Wilson, but many fans are wondering why she and estranged husband Kyle Cooke haven’t filed for divorce yet.
According to Page Six, the former lovers, who announced their separation in January, are still sorting things out, including their finances.
What’s more, Cook, 43, reportedly wants Batula, 34, to start the process, similar to how Ben Affleck “made” Jennifer Lopez file for divorce “so she wouldn’t look bad”.
A representative for Bravol Breeze did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Batula’s secret romance with Cook’s best friend Wilson, 31, was revealed in March, shocking cast members and viewers alike.
In the first reunion episode of “Summer House” Season 10, which aired Tuesday on Bravo, Batula and Wilson raged about all the “lies” they told while trying to hide their budding “connection.”
Ciara Miller, who is close friends with Batula and previously dated Wilson, was particularly upset.
“Sometimes you can’t control who you like or are attracted to!” exclaimed Batula, to which Miller, 30, shot back, “Actually, you can help. If you’re married, you can actually help.”
When Batula insisted that she was “no longer married,” Miller pointed out that she was “legally” married.
“I got a lawyer, and the lawyer contacted Kyle,” Batula claimed. “But nothing has progressed since then.”
Notably, she and Cook do not have children, but did not sign a prenuptial agreement before their September 2021 wedding.
Season 10 of Summer House, which was filmed in the summer of 2025, depicts a major rift in the former couple’s marriage, resulting in Cook becoming emotionally unstable and Batula checking out.
The deterioration in their relationship continues to affect their new spin-off, In the City, which is currently airing and began filming last fall.
In an upcoming episode, Batula tells Cook, “I don’t have premarital sex, but if you come for me, I’ll come for you,” to which Loverboy’s founder and CEO replies, “That’s a losing battle.”
“Are you threatening me?” counters Mr. Batula, who previously worked as a creative director and head of branding for a drinks company.
