“In the City” star Whitney Franceway accused Lindsay Hubbard of causing “chaos” at castmate Yvonne Najor’s hellish wedding dinner.
Fransway told Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” that people are afraid of having a “contrary view” of Hubbard, citing as an example the disastrous meal between Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke that started as a discussion about her failed marriage but turned into a group shouting match.
“She wants Yvonne to apologize… for causing the mess and for not intervening on her best friend’s behalf,” said Franceway, 35. “So I think it might be a little difficult to go up against Lindsay.”
Ms. Fransway, who got her reality TV start on season 21 of “The Bachelor” before joining the “Summer House” spinoff this year, added that Ms. Hubbard, 39, takes things “very head-on” and “never backs down.”
But one person who wasn’t afraid to stand up to Hubbard is Frenchway’s boyfriend, Kenny Martin.
“I think both of us have strong personalities and will always be very vocal about our opinions,” the model said. “Most of the time, the two sides don’t agree.”
Hubbard and Martin got off to a bad start in an early episode of In the City when she criticized her relationship with Frenchway, who had recently moved from Los Angeles to New York to be with him.
The former publicist, who has a 1-year-old daughter, later clashed directly with Franceway, claiming that she used the “single mom card” to get the best room in the house on a cast trip.
The couple’s disdain for Hubbard continues throughout the season, and it doesn’t seem like things have been resolved by the time of their upcoming two-part reunion.
“I just came out here and apologized,” Ms. Fransway told Ms. Hubbard, who accused her of “poor choice of words” during the reunion preview.
“Lindsay, you collect apologies like you collect souls,” Martin added.
“In the City” airs Tuesdays at 9pm ET on Bravo. New episodes will stream on Peacock the next day.
