West Wilson confirmed rumors that he was fired from ‘Summer House.’
On Wednesday, West appeared on the “Broadcast Boys” podcast and said, “As much as I wanted to say it myself, (the rumors of his departure) are true.”
“I don’t think it was a fun summer considering (Bravo’s) defense,” he added.
As Page Six previously reported, the reality star was not cast in season 11 of the hit show Bravo following his romance scandal with Amanda Batula.
However, “Summer House” sources told TMZ there is still a chance the sports journalist will make a cameo appearance on the Bravo show.
The next season is scheduled to begin filming over the Fourth of July weekend.
West and Batula confirmed their secret romance in March.
“It was never our intention to intentionally hide anything. Given the complex relationship dynamics and intense scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed some space to process things privately before talking about the show,” the pair said in a joint statement on Instagram.
“We have supported each other as friends through ups and downs over the years, but what happened recently was something neither of us expected,” they added.
The couple said that their relationship was “born out of many years of genuine friendship” and that they did not go public with their romance right away because they “want to approach this cautiously.”
Co-star Ciara Miller was shocked to learn that her best friend Batula was dating her ex-boyfriend of four months in 2023.
Meanwhile, Batula announced her separation from Kyle Cook in January after four years of marriage.
The fallout from the romance played out at the Summer House Season 10 reunion, where Miller accused her ex-best friend of being a “fuckin’ snake” for dating his ex-boyfriend.
Mr. Cook also poked a hole in the chronology of Mr. Wilson and Mr. Batula’s relationship by revealing that they had separated on the same day that they publicly announced their separation. Mr. Miller spotted Mr. Batula and Mr. Wilson hanging out two days before the joint statement.
Despite all the backlash, the couple enjoyed a romantic trip to Italy for their wedding last month.
