A round of golf, a chaotic sound check, a canceled concert, and a police escort from the grounds. A glimpse into the dramatic chain of events that allegedly unfolded during Bailey Zimmerman’s tumultuous day at a New Mexico resort.

An affidavit obtained by Fox News Digital revealed new details about the events that led to the criminal charges against Zimmerman, tracking the country singer’s movements from the golf course to the amphitheater and back to the resort hotel.

Investigators claimed the day culminated in the show’s cancellation, police intervention and thousands of dollars in property damage.

Start your day with a round of golf

After arriving at the Sandia Resort and Casino in Albuquerque on May 27, Zimmerman enjoyed a round of golf.

Around 3 p.m., Zimmerman and his entourage returned to the hotel in a white SUV.

Upon arrival, police say Zimmerman, a security guard and four men exited the vehicle.

“They were standing in a group smoking a shared cigarette, and Mr. Zimmerman intentionally lit the other members of the band on fire with the cigarette,” the affidavit said. “The band members didn’t seem to mind and were laughing.”

The group headed to Zimmerman’s assigned hotel room.

At 4:20 p.m., Zimmerman and his entourage headed to the amphitheater for soundcheck.

“Security at Sandia advised that Mr. Zimmerman appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and was extremely angry at the band and manager,” the affidavit states. At one point, Zimmerman got out of his SUV on his way to sound check and was escorted out by a bodyguard.

Surveillance footage reviewed by police shows the country singer’s soundcheck descending into chaos, with the singer throwing microphones and cymbals, knocking over equipment, staggering across the stage and repeatedly resisting the band’s attempts to calm him down.

The country star kicked drum equipment and walked in and out of the stage multiple times before finally pushing the guitarist, according to the affidavit.

Police said Zimmerman finished soundcheck after 44 minutes.

“Mr. Zimmerman walked toward a waiting white SUV,” the affidavit alleges. “He threw a water bottle backwards down the stairs, drank from another bottle and spat at a Sandia security guard who was standing nearby.

“Mr. Zimmerman complained that he was in a white SUV instead of a black SUV and initially refused to ride,” police said in a statement. “He ended up getting into a white SUV.”

Return to hotel

Mr. Zimmerman’s return to hotels is said to have been similarly dramatic. The “Fall in Love” singer returned to the resort around 4:49 p.m. According to the affidavit, he stumbled out of the SUV, went to the wrong door, lost a shoe and struggled to keep his balance as members of his entourage guided him inside.

Zimmerman, who had blood stains on one of his knees, stumbled through the hotel, nearly hitting the floor multiple times, before returning to his suite.

The concert has been canceled

The singer claimed to be “not feeling well” and eventually canceled the concert.

“As you all know, there is nothing I love more than being on the road and putting on a show for you guys,” he wrote on Instagram. “So, it pains me to have to say this, but we have to reschedule our shows for tonight (5/27) and Saturday (5/30).

“I haven’t been feeling very well and I’ve been trying to get through this together, but I can’t give you all the show you deserve. I hate to disappoint you and I was really looking forward to the show, but I have to take care of myself so I can come back stronger,” he continued.

Resort manager orders aides to leave

After canceling the concert, resort staff asked Zimmerman and his entourage to leave the hotel.

“Mr. Zimmerman was given a deadline to vacate the Sandia property,” the affidavit states. “He refused to ride in the vehicle provided by Sandia to take him to the airport.”

“Mr. Zimmerman became disorderly and Sandia Police were contacted,” the document added. “Mr. Zimmerman eventually became cooperative and boarded a bus provided by Sandia Resort and Casino. He was escorted from the property by Sandia Police.”

Hotel staff found extensive damage in the room

On May 28, Sandia police were called to the hotel to investigate damage found in the hotel room where Zimmerman was staying.

When officers inspected the room, they allegedly found the following:

Damage to TV Broken phone Damage to coffee table Damage to 2 chairs 2 chairs missing from room Hole in wall Damage to other walls Some stains on carpet

The total damage was $16,000, according to the affidavit. Zimmerman also allegedly charged $400 worth of alcohol for the room, but never paid the bill.

Arrest warrant issued for resort incident

Zimmerman was later charged with a felony count of criminal damage to property for allegedly trashing a hotel room, and a misdemeanor count of fraudulently obtaining services.

The document, obtained by Fox News Digital, further alleges that Bailey Zimmerman shoved the guitarist, canceled a scheduled concert, and was ultimately ordered to leave the resort. Instagram/Bailey Zimmerman

The arrest warrant signed by a judge on June 18 included a “no bail” clause, and the judge decided to hold Mr. Zimmerman until he appears in court, rather than immediately releasing him on a pre-set bail amount.

Bailey Zimmerman apologizes

Days after a felony warrant for criminal damage to property was filed, the country singer apologized through his attorney.

“Dear Sandia Pueblo and my fans: I would like to address the events surrounding my canceled show in New Mexico in May and the subsequent coverage,” he said in a statement to FOX News Digital. “First of all, I would like to apologize to the people of Sandia Pueblo and to everyone at Sandia Resort & Casino. I never intended for any of this to come across as disrespectful, and I am deeply sorry for my actions that occurred. I am grateful for the opportunity to perform at Rand. I take full responsibility for everything that happened and am sorry to anyone who felt hurt or disrespected.”

“To all the fans who bought tickets and came to the venue expecting to see me perform, I am truly sorry. There must be someone more deserving of me. I understand that being a musician comes with great responsibility, both on and off stage, but I also know that I fell short that day. I am remorseful for the disappointment and worry I caused.”

“I take this legal matter seriously. I am dedicated to learning and doing the work necessary to grow. Thank you to my fans for holding me accountable and understanding that I am human. I do not take your support for granted.”
