Spider-Man comes to the rescue.
Tom Holland saved his wife Zendaya from a major wardrobe malfunction as they left a hotel in New York City on Thursday.
In photos obtained by Page Six, the British actor noticed that Zendaya’s plunging black dress with a thigh-high slit was riding up in the wind.
Holland immediately gestured to the “Euphoria” star, who put her hand on her dress to stop the wardrobe mishap.
The couple, who were holding hands, were driven out of the hotel in a car.
Holland, 30, and Zendaya, 29, were in New York doing press for Christopher Nolan’s new film, The Odyssey.
They play Telemachus and Athene, respectively, and co-star with Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Charlize Theron, Elliot Page, and Jon Bernthal.
During an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Wednesday, Zendaya opened up about Holland’s involvement in the project after he was already cast.
“I mean, he’s the best and he deserves it,” she said. “And I was so excited.”
Zendaya explained that she “didn’t really put myself into the equation at all,” but when Holland showed her the script, she realized she was playing Athena.
“And I was like, ‘Oh, stop it now,'” she said.
Holland revealed that Zendaya convinced him to do Odyssey despite the original scheduling issues with Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
“We literally had Spider-Man scheduled the same day we started shooting,” he recently told People magazine. “Z said, “If you don’t do Odyssey, I’ll break up with you.”
The two announced their romance in 2021, five years after they met on the set of “Spider-Man: Homecoming.”
After rumors of their marriage sparked earlier this year, Holland confirmed the marriage in an interview with Esquire magazine in June.
He didn’t reveal any details about their secret wedding, but called Zendaya “his person” and his “best friend.”
“I’m the happiest I’ve ever been when I’m with her,” the “Cherry” star said. “But I’ve never felt so supported and safe.”
After “Odyssey,” Holland and Zendaya will share the screen again in “Spider-Man 4,” which opens on July 31st.
