Tiger Woods will be returning home soon.
The professional golfer, who has been confined to a treatment center in Switzerland since being arrested for drunk driving in a car accident in March, will reportedly complete his three-month rehabilitation stay by the end of this month.
“The original plan was for Tiger to undergo a three-month rehabilitation program, which should stay on track unless something major changes,” a source told People.
“Tiger is doing his best under all the pressures of his treatment and the legal issues he faces in the coming months. This is creating a lot of stress.”
“We don’t know when that will be or how he will do it, but Tiger is determined to return (to golf),” the source added. “He has to get his pain management on the right track, and he also has to be able to continue a fitness routine that helps him play his best when playing golf seriously. This may be difficult, but that’s what he wants.”
Another source explained that Trump and his girlfriend Vanessa Trump, who is currently battling breast cancer, communicate regularly and support each other through their own challenges.
“They’re talking and sharing their lives like they’ve been doing the whole time they’ve been together,” the source said.
“Tiger is a caring and supportive man who cares about his family. Vanessa is the same, a strong woman who lives every day to the fullest,” they added.
The new development comes about two weeks after Woods took a short leave of absence from rehab to “take care of some things, support his girlfriend Vanessa with her health issues, and be here for her golfer daughter Kai’s high school graduation.”
Trump, who has been publicly dating Woods since March 2025, announced on Instagram in May that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer.
“I remain focused and hopeful, surrounded by the love and support of my family, my children, and those closest to me,” she shared at the time, revealing that she underwent surgery earlier that week.
As for the golfer, he continues to wait for the case to play out in court, months after he rolled his Land Rover on Jupiter Island, Florida, on March 27th.
The five-time Masters Tournament champion has been involved in a number of car accidents in recent years, including when he tried to pass a pressure washer truck and clipped the back of it, causing his car to overturn.
Authorities said he showed “signs of impairment” even though he tested negative on a breathalyzer test. The player refused a urine test and was later charged with refusing to submit to a legal test.
A police report previously obtained by Page Six claims authorities found “two white pills in the side pocket of (his) pants,” which were later determined to be hydrocodone, a narcotic painkiller.
After his arrest, Woods was booked into the Martin County Jail and released early on March 28th. Days later, golf icon Woods appeared before a judge and pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor charges of DUI with property damage and refusing to submit to a legal test.
Woods is scheduled to appear in court on July 7.
