Tiger Woods has been released from a rehabilitation center in Switzerland, Page Six has confirmed.
The golf pro returned to the United States on a private plane on Friday, nearly three months after he was arrested on drunken driving charges.
Woods was photographed arriving at a civilian airport in Jupiter, Florida, after completing his rehabilitation period. He stepped off the private jet, exited customs, and headed home.
Earlier this month, officials claimed Woods was on track to complete treatment by the end of June.
“The original plan was for Tiger to undergo a three-month rehabilitation program, and unless something major changes, he should be on target,” a source told People two weeks ago.
Sources said the 50-year-old athlete was “doing his best” under the “pressure” of legal issues and treatment he will face in the coming months.
“This is causing a lot of stress,” the source said.
“We don’t know when that will be or how he will do it, but Tiger is determined to return (to golf),” the source added. “He has to get his pain management on the right track, and he also has to be able to continue a fitness routine that helps him play his best when playing golf seriously. This may be difficult, but that’s what he wants.”
While in rehab, Trump reportedly kept in constant contact with his girlfriend, Vanessa Trump, who announced her battle with breast cancer in May.
“They’re talking and sharing their lives, as they have throughout their time together,” the source said, adding, “Tiger is a caring and supportive person who cares about his family. Vanessa is the same, a strong woman who eats her fill every day.”
It’s worth noting that Woods took a short break from treatment to spend time with President Trump amid his health struggles. He also reportedly wanted to be close to Vanessa’s daughter Kai Trump, with whom he has been close since they started dating in 2025.
The five-time Masters Tournament champion, who has been involved in traffic accidents over the years, was charged with drunk driving after a rollover accident on March 27 on Jupiter Island, Florida.
At the time, police said Woods was showing “signs of impairment” despite a negative breathalyzer test. Because he refused to submit to a urine test, he was charged with refusing to submit to a lawful test.
Authorities reported finding “two white pills in the side pocket of (his) pants,” which were later determined to be hydrocodone, a narcotic painkiller.
Woods was taken to the Martin County Jail and released early on March 28th.
A few days later, he pleaded not guilty to drunk driving causing property damage and refusing to submit to a legal test.
Woods’ next court date is scheduled for July 7.
