“Beyond the Gates” had high ratings for the week of June 8 due to the crossover between CBS’ “The Young and the Restless” and “Beyond the Gates.” The show averaged 1.8 million viewers over the week, an 11% increase from the season-to-date numbers, making it the drama’s third most-watched week since “Beyond the Gates,” which aired in February 2025.
Meanwhile, “The Young and the Restless” also saw a slight increase for the week of June 8, with 3.11 million viewers, up 2% from its season average (3.06 million viewers), thanks to visits from guest stars Shemar Moore and Vivica A. Fox.
The “Beyond the Gates” crossover, which was first announced in January, centers on six “Young and the Restless” characters (Eric Braeden, Michael Mellor, Peter Bergman, Susan Walters, Melissa Ordway and Bryton James) appearing in a multi-episode event.
As a result, “Beyond the Gates” achieved record viewership on Thursday (June 11, 1.83 million viewers, an 11% increase from the previous week) and Friday (1.84 million viewers, an 11% increase from the previous week, June 12).
The show’s Tuesday (June 9, 1.8 million viewers, up 16% from the same day in 2025) was the most-watched Tuesday since February 24, and Wednesday (June 10, 1.87 million viewers, 17% up from the previous week) was the most-watched Tuesday since February 24.

As for “The Young and the Restless,” Moore and Foxx appeared on the June 8 and June 9 episodes. The Monday, June 8th episode averaged 3.2 million viewers, an increase of 9% from the same day in 2025, and the Tuesday, June 9th episode averaged 3.01 million viewers.
