Following her surprise performance at the Toy Story 5 premiere in Los Angeles last night, Taylor Swift arrived all the way to Madison Square Garden in New York City on Wednesday in time to watch Game 3 of the NBA Finals between the New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs.
This may not be Swift’s only appearance at MSG this week. Lately, there has been speculation that she and her NFL superstar fiancé, Travis Kelce, will wed over the weekend at an iconic New York venue.
The Knicks, led by star point guard Jalen Brunson, fell 2-1 after the Spurs won Game 3 against MSG. The Knicks defeated the Spurs 105-95 in Game 1, but Game 2 was a close one, with the Knicks winning by just one point.
Recently, many celebrities and politicians attended MSG for the NBA Finals. Donald Trump attended Game 3 on Monday, where he was met with boos from thousands of basketball fans. Earlier this week, Timothée Chalamet, Spike Lee, Tina Fey, Dave Chappelle, Tracy Morgan, Ben Stiller, Larry David, Chris Rock and Fat Joe were also at the Garden, enthusiastically cheering on the New York Knicks from the sidelines.
Last month, Swift and Kelce were spotted at a playoff game between the Knicks and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Kelce rooted for the Cavaliers, but they ultimately lost. Besides “Toy Story 5,” which features Nicks and a new original song titled “I Knew It, I Knew You,” Swift also made headlines after reportedly doubling her net worth to $2 billion.
