The controversial romance between Summer House star West Wilson and Amanda Batula is getting more “serious.”
“West already took Amanda to meet his parents in May,” a source told Us Weekly.
“So they’re getting serious.”
Still, a source added, “The cast does not think they will continue.”
The couple’s relationship has been the subject of controversy, as Wilson, 31, previously dated Batula’s best friend Ciara Miller.
Batula and Wilson raised eyebrows in March when they confirmed their friendship had turned into something else. It comes just two months after Batula and her estranged husband Kyle Cook announced they were divorcing after four years of marriage.
But it was Batula and Miller’s close friendship that caused surprise.
Wilson and Miller, 30, started dating in 2023 and continued to flirt with each other throughout season 10 of “Summer House” even after their breakup. In the season finale, it was revealed that the two were flirting.
But Wilson insisted there was nothing wrong with his romance with Batula, 34.
“This wasn’t like a sex scandal. It was more like hanging out,” West explained in a preview for the upcoming three-part reunion after host Andy Cohen questioned whether the couple was “in love.”
Meanwhile, Miller did not hide his feelings for his former friend.
“For the past six years, I’ve been your champion,” she tells Batula in the explosive trailer. “I never imagined you’d sit here and get mad at me for calling my ex-boyfriend shit.”
Mr Miller also claimed that the only reason Mr Wilson was with Batula was “because he wanted to embarrass me”.
“He wants to hear the last word. And he’s with you to bully me, so I hope it works out,” Myler added.
The trailer ends with Batula bursting into tears after losing heat from the cast, while Wilson remains seated on the couch.
Some of his co-stars urged him to go after her, with Lindsay Hubbard yelling, “Rise up and go after her, West. Be king.”
Wilson and Batula’s co-stars are on record as saying they don’t think the pair are in a final phase.
Newcomer Levi Sebree told Page Six’s “Virtual Reality” hosts Evan Real and Danny Murphy last month: “Screw it. This isn’t going to last long.”
Cook shared the same opinion on Tuesday’s episode of “Watch What Happens Live.”
“He hasn’t had any lasting relationships throughout his adult life,” he said of Wilson.
“Summer House” Season 10 Reunion Part 1 premieres May 26 at 8pm ET on Bravo.
