Darrell Sheets, who appeared on episode 163 of the hit A&E series “Storage Wars,” died Wednesday in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He passed away at the age of 67. Police said the man died from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
“On April 22, 2026, at approximately 2 a.m., Lake Havasu Police Department officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1500 block of Chandler Drive in reference to a reported death. Upon arrival, officers located a male with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. The male was pronounced dead at the scene and the Lake Havasu Police Department Criminal Investigation Division was notified,” the Lake Havasu Police Department said in a release.
“The body was ultimately turned over to the Mohave County Coroner’s Office for further investigation. The male subject was identified as 67-year-old Darrell Sheets of Lake Havasu City, and Darrell’s family has been notified. This case remains an active investigation and additional information will be released as it becomes available,” the release continued.
Sheets appeared on the long-running reality show “Storage Wars” from 2010 to 2023, and has also appeared on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and Rachael Ray’s show.

He suffered a heart attack in 2019 and retired to Arizona, where he ran an antiques store called Havasu Show Me Your Junk.
