Stefon Diggs and Cardi B don’t appear to be dating at the moment, although the NFL star insists they’re “great” despite their clash at a coffee shop in May.
“That’s the mother of my child. I love her to death,” Diggs, 32, said in a video released Wednesday when asked about the current situation by TMZ.
He added: “You’ll have to ask her.”
After paparazzi asked Diggs about the explosive argument between him and the “Up” hitmaker, 33, the athlete remained mum about the entire ordeal.
“What argument? I don’t even think it was an argument,” he said, noting that his demeanor remained calm throughout the interaction.
In response, the outlet commented that Cardi seemed quite fired up in the scene.
In response to the outrage, Diggs said, “It’s okay…women do things like that sometimes.”
Still, the former New England Patriots player emphasized that the two are “great.”
Cardi and Diggs, who broke up in February just months after welcoming their son, shocked fans when they reunited last month at Diggs’ Mother’s Day event, where they showed off lots of PDA.
But their happy reunion was short-lived as they were spotted arguing outside a coffee shop and gym in Maryland.
At the time, Cardi B dismissed reports of a rift between her lovers to reporters, citing outlandish and sympathetic reasons.
“Sometimes I forget I’m a celebrity,” she tweeted. “Damn, don’t you all say bad things about daddy when you’re hungry?”
The “I Like It” host and Diggs began dating in 2025 and made their relationship official on Instagram in June of last year.
