Simone Biles is back in hospital just two months after a mysterious medical emergency left her “nearly dying” in June.
The 29-year-old Olympian shared a black-and-white photo of herself wearing a hospital gown and shower cap on Instagram on Thursday.
Biles, who was seated next to her husband Jonathan Owens, smiled for the camera.
“It’s his birthday and he took me for a procedure 🥹🥹🥹🤍🤍🤍,” she wrote under the snapshot. “I woke up singing ‘Talk my Sh–’ by BossMan Dlow🤣🤣🤣🤣.”
Last month, Biles shared online that she had experienced a frightening health condition.
Despite emphasizing “modern privacy,” the gymnast opened up to her followers because “I’m about to die” wasn’t written on her “Bingo card.”
Biles did not go into detail about what happened, but thanked her “close circle” for “checking in, visiting and sending flowers.”
The athlete promised to fill the fans “sooner or later.”
“This was one of the scariest experiences of my life, especially since Jonathan went to Indy to practice,” she said of Owens, 31, who was attending an NFL preseason practice with the Indianapolis Colts.
Biles and Owens first matched on the dating app Raya in March 2020, and officially joined Instagram in August of the same year.
Two years later, the soccer player proposed on Valentine’s Day.
The couple wed in a private ceremony in Houston, Texas, in April 2023, and walked down the aisle in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, a month later.
Since then, Biles has shown glimpses of their relationship online.
The gold medalist recently made headlines for attending Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding at Madison Square Garden earlier this month.
Biles detailed the night out on her Instagram Story, writing, “I can’t believe this is my life so I sum up New York,” adding, “No, I’m not ‘lucky,’ I’m blessed.”
The couple wore matching burgundy outfits, and Owens wrote on Instagram: “What a night it was. So grateful to be able to witness such a beautiful ceremony with so many amazing people.”
“We love celebrating love. A truly unforgettable night. Congratulations to the couple!!! #T&T.”
