Sami Sheen became emotional on social media as he mourned the death of his mother Denise Richards’ ex-boyfriend Patrick Muldoon.
“Patrick was loved by all,” she wrote on her Instagram Story on Tuesday, along with a tribute to the “Wild Things” actress.
“He was very resourceful and humble, but still made sure everyone knew he was a rock star and never cared what people thought about him,” Sheen added. “From the first day I met him to the last day I saw him, he never changed.”
The OnlyFans model, 22, wrote that she was “lucky to have grown up” with the Melrose Place alum.
“And I still haven’t lived my life without him,” Sheen said.
“His friendship with my mother was so beautiful and not something many people get to experience. I will miss him every day,” she added.
“I hope you wake up soon from this nightmare.”
Sheen later shared another post of a heart-shaped cloud to her Instagram Stories.
“Right after he passed away, I was sitting outside looking for a sign to let me know he was safe and on the other side. Then a few minutes later I looked up at the sky and saw this in the sky,” she wrote alongside the image. “There can be no coincidence.”
Muldoon died Sunday of a sudden heart attack. He was 57 years old.
The Days of Our Lives actor’s sister, Shanna Muldoon-Zappa, told TMZ that her brother spent Sunday morning with his partner Miriam Rothbart at his home in Beverly Hills, Calif., before taking a shower.
When Rothbart went to check on Muldoon, she found him unconscious on the bathroom floor. Paramedics pronounced the actor dead at the scene.
Muldoon dated Richards, 55, for nearly five years in the late 1990s, but they had known each other since she was a teenager.
Following news of his death, the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum posted a heartbreaking tribute to her “best friend” on Instagram.
“It’s so hard to put this into words. I’m so heartbroken and devastated by your loss,” she wrote alongside a video montage of the two of them together.
“All of my adult life is unknown without you. The friendship, love, support, respect and loyalty we had was unconditional and rare,” Richards added.
“I thought we were going to live forever, at least until the ’90s. Shweet Babe, I’m looking for signs of that. I need you to know that you’re still here with me. I love you so much and I miss you so much Shweet Babe. 💔🙏🪽,” the model concluded her eulogy.
