Rosie O’Donnell will never go under the knife again.
At Sunday’s Tony Awards 2026, the former talk show host was asked if she plans on getting more cosmetic surgery after making a fuss about getting a facelift.
“No, I don’t think so,” she told E! Red carpet news.
O’Donnell, 64, told the media that she decided to reveal her plastic surgery because she wanted to look real.
“In this day and age, authenticity is the goal,” she said.
“And I think what’s important is truth and love. So I wanted to be honest and talk about all the mixed feelings I had about it,” the “A League of Their Own” star added.
O’Donnell also felt it would be wise for the tabloids to get ahead of leaking the story at a “gotcha” moment.
“I just wanted to say, ‘This is what I did. Here are the doctors, and if you want,'” she explained, adding that the surgery was very expensive.
“But it’s very expensive. It’s more expensive than any car I’ve ever bought, but I can’t drive without looking in the face,” the former “View” co-host explained.
Last month, Ms O’Donnell shared before and after photos of her transformation, saying she felt “embarrassed” about the surgery because it cost so much money.
“As some people have come to say about what I have, it’s the excess of it that hurts me,” she wrote on Substack.
The Flintstones actress said she previously thought plastic surgery was a “betrayal” to feminism, but changed her mind after she noticed more wrinkles on her face after losing 50 pounds.
“I tried to evolve about it and say things like, ‘This is natural. This is earned,'” she wrote. “Then…’Hmm, how much does it look like you’re making?’
“There’s a point where acceptance starts to feel like a lie,” O’Donnell added.
