Grande Dam is free!
“Real Housewives of Potomac” star Karen Huger was released from prison after serving just six months behind bars for a 2024 DUI.
A spokesman for the Montgomery County Detention Center told Page 6 on Tuesday, “she was released.”
The 62-year-old Huger committed the DUI guilty in December 2024 after destroying Maserati in a fast crash at the beginning of the year.
The police group Cam of the real-life star arrest was revealed to the public at the time, showing that the drunk Huger had a hard time talking and even admitted to being “drunk” after the crash.
At one point, she even mentioned Thomas Jefferson’s “concubin” while sitting in the interrogation room with the police officer who asked her questions about the incident.
On an episode of “Rhop,” which aired in March, Bravolebrity spoke about the bodycam footage and said he initially refused to see the clip.
“I’m sitting in court, I finally have to look at it. “Well, I certainly made a mistake, because everything isn’t connected for me.”
“And I saw it, and I’m telling you, I didn’t recognize the woman,” she continued. “I didn’t know her.”
Karen claimed she was “blackened” before crashing an expensive ride on the side of the street.
In February, the fragrance owner was sentenced to two years in prison, suspended for a year, and was immediately taken into police custody.
Karen’s co-star Gisele Bryant said she “shaked” after hearing that her madness had to spend time behind the bar.
But in April, the 54-year-old “love hotel” star said Karen had thrived in prison after the DUI sentence.
“I’ve been in touch with someone very close to her about her safety and all of that,” she told Andy Cohen on an episode of “Watch What What Happes Live.”
“From what I understand, they love her where she is. They absolutely love her. They love Grande Dam! And you know she’s running that thing,” added Bryant.
“I feel very good about the fact that she is safe.”
Karen has faced four driving violations since 2006.
