“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Drew Sidora is trying to set the record straight in a high-profile social media dispute with castmate Kelly Ferrell.
In an exclusive chat with Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea,” Sidra opens up about the drama that ensued after she tried to visit Ferrell’s now-closed Nana’s Chicken and Waffles and found it locked.
“I tried to (visit),” Sidra says. “There was a box with a lock on the door.”
The “Badder” singer initially documented the moment on her Instagram Story as she tried to treat her children to food at a restaurant.
“I’m so confused because I didn’t get the memo. My kids wanted chicken and waffles, so I came to support my daughter,” she said in the video. “So, when I got here, there was a locked box on the door. There’s no one here, no one answers the phone. There’s no one inside. Did anyone know about this? Because I didn’t.”
Sidra explained that her visit was not suspicious and was convenient. She and her children had been shopping at a nearby Target in the same shopping center.
“One of the things I’ve always done is eat chicken and waffles. Okay, let’s take that out,” she said with a laugh.
“What I’m trying to do is eat. My kids love chicken and waffles, so I’m like, let’s do it for them. We were going to Target, which is in the same (shopping center). Well, it was. I don’t know anymore because I’m not there anymore. But I was like, ‘We’re here.’ And I just thought, “Wow.” ”
The moment quickly escalated into a social media exchange, with Ferrell directing Sidra online in a flurry of heated posts on his Instagram Story. But the longtime Housewife insists she’s just been rooting for Ferrell, who joined the series in season 16 last year.
“And I think this is the problem: As much as she came to me and gave me all this smoke, I don’t know what Kelly’s problem is really, really for me,” Sidra says. “But I’ve always tried to be supportive.”
She added candidly, “But I feel like that’s how a girl feels. I mean, I didn’t do that. I don’t know why she’s mad at me. I didn’t close the restaurant.”
Sidra said the tension didn’t start with the restaurant visit. She believes Ferrell came into the Bravo series eager to secure a spot for himself and chose her as a target.
“I feel like she really came in trying to find her place. She had to do a lot of research, so she was just trying to find out, ‘Where do I fit?’ And then she decided to come get me,” Sidra explains. “I’m always positive and always up for a challenge.”
What about Ferrell’s online jab?

“She was distressed. She seemed a little preoccupied. I was like, ‘Girl, are you okay?’ Like a spicy Chihuahua,” Sidra jokes. “For some reason, I’m always surrounded by dogs and puppies. Am I a veterinarian at this point? I know I have dog bones and dog treats, but what’s the deal?”
Despite the drama, Sidra is channeling her energy into more constructive things. Along with CheMinistry host and relationship expert Chanel Nicole Scott, she spoke with the “Virtual Reali-Tea” while promoting the “Kicks & Conversations” event scheduled for February 21st.
This immersive experience, powered by CheMinistry, is designed for singles and couples looking for advice that goes beyond the surface level. This event blends honest conversations, expert insights, and real-life experiences to explore intimacy, trust, boundaries, and connection in a modern society that values visibility over vulnerability.
If Sidra has her way, the real tea and real growth is just beginning.
