The Row may sell sneakers for four figures, but brand co-founder Mary-Kate Olsen can’t resist her classic Adidas Sambas, which sell for a fraction of that price.
Much like the timeless Adidas Samba, the Sambae features a slightly taller (1.25-inch) platform sole for added height. Olsen had owned a black and white pair for years.
And the 39-year-old fashion icon made a rare appearance in her beloved kicks this week, wearing a long black velvet coat, dark sunglasses and an embroidered Yasser Shaw scarf, alongside art dealer Vito Schnabel, who had a brown crocodile bag dangling from the crook of his arm.
Combining elements of The Row’s iconic Margaux and Lady styles, Olsen’s Bowler Bag is a one-of-a-kind sample that was likely never produced.
She was spotted carrying the same purse in 2022 — in the same samba style, of course.
